About Acura Valuation

Team Overview

A team-based appraisal practice serving West Michigan.

Acura Valuation's appraisal team includes State Licensed, State Certified Residential, and Certified General appraisers serving defined West Michigan markets. The firm's appraisers live and work in the markets they serve, bringing local market knowledge and geographic competency to residential real estate appraisal assignments and appropriate specialized valuation work.

Residential appraisal focus

Residential mortgage lending, conventional lending, FHA appraisal assignments, new construction, condominium, single-family, and multi-family residential assignments are central to the practice.

Specialized assignment experience

Team experience includes waterfront properties, rural and large acreage properties, estate and probate valuation, divorce valuation, litigation support, and vacant land assignments.

Secondary services

Commercial appraisal and appraisal review services are available for appropriate assignments when the scope, property type, market area, and reporting needs are a good fit.

Credentials and Licensing

Licensed and certified appraisal capacity.

The Certified General credential permits valuation of all property types; however, Acura Valuation remains primarily focused on residential real estate appraisal services throughout defined West Michigan markets.

Licensing and certification matter, but credentials are only one part of assignment fit. Acura Valuation also considers property type, intended use, location, market familiarity, and reporting requirements before accepting an assignment.

Geographic Competency

Geographic competency is part of credible valuation work.

A credible appraisal depends on more than inspecting a property. Appraisers need to understand the market where the property competes, the behavior of buyers and sellers, the reliability of comparable data, and the factors that influence value in that area.

Acura Valuation focuses on defined West Michigan markets rather than broad coverage claims. That approach supports better market familiarity, better comparable sale analysis, and more supportable conclusions.
